Goutets Summer Pastures
Perched at 1,450m in altitude in the Pic des Trois Seigneurs corrie
above the Arac valley, GOUTETS*** is a protected site and one of
the most remarkable summer pasture hamlets in the Couserans.
The numerous orris and huts, characterised by unusual dry stone
architecture, are testament to pastoral activity dating very far back.
Still today, sheep and nearly 200 cows spend the four summer months
grazing freely across the pastures.
Once you get up to this wild place, where precious water flows
from the plentiful springs, you’ll never want to leave!!
Goutets Trek for 2 days, a Weekend...
2 options by reservation from mid-June onwards...
“ALL INCLUSIVE STAY”
Arrival in the afternoon, introduction and short walk with donkeys.
An overnight stay in a yurt, tipi or guestroom with full board at Balad'âne farm.
You trek up to the Goutets summer pastures the following day.
Rates: FB 52€/adult – 34€/child <12ans; 70€ per donkey

“FREEDOM STAY”
Arrival in the morning at around 9am, introduction to donkeys, followed by a trek up to Goutets summer pastures where you can camp independently and come back the following day.
Hire: 100€ per donkey with saddle bags
